Ali focuses on leadership development in professional services firms. She designs, directs and teaches on bespoke leadership programmes for global elite law firms.

Since 2008, Ali has worked as an organisational consultant and business coach. She is a regular keynote speaker on the topic of generational diversity; she helps law firms create effective mentoring programmes; and she facilitates retreats for executives and teams. At the business school, Ali has co-designed, directed, taught and coached on programmes for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Hogan Lovells, and Appleby Global. As a founding partner of Martin & Hall, she also works with Shearman & Sterling, Sakdden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Mills & Reeve LLP, and Macfarlanes.  Ali is also the lead coach on the Executive MBA.

Previously, Ali spent over a decade practicing labour and employment law in the US. Ali holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz; a JD from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts; an MA from City University in London; and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.  She is accredited by the EMCC.
