Dave was a shaping influence in establishing and nurturing the strategic relationship between Heidrick and Struggles and Saïd Business School; a partnership that sponsored a major CEO research project. He co-directed the research, aimed at understanding what it takes to be a CEO in the 21st century and collaborated with the School in writing and publication of 'The CEO Report: Embracing the Paradoxes of Leadership and the Power of Doubt.' The report was launched at Davos in 2015 and has received extensive media coverage and praise.

Currently, Dave is collaborating with the School to develop an experiential learning programme for future CEOs that is based on research outcomes of the CEO Report. At its core the programme aims to equip executives with the capabilities and mind set to create a 'better world, better led'. The Future CEO programme is planned for launch in 2016.

Dave has an MBA from Portsmouth Management School, a postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and a BA Honours degree in Politics.
